The top variant of the BYD Seal boasts an estimated real-world range of over 500 km on the WLTP cycle, thanks to its 82 kWh BYD blade battery pack and dual-motor setup. This configuration also generates over 390 kW of power, contributing to the car’s impressive acceleration.

This sighting marks the first time that many EV enthusiasts in Australia have seen a black BYD Seal. From certain angles, the car has an understated look with flush door handles, while other angles reveal sporty features such as side skirts and a large rear diffuser setup.

In terms of dimensions, the BYD Seal is slightly longer than the current generation of the Tesla Model 3, measuring over 100 mm longer at a length of 4,800 mm.
